You can request a repeat of your prescription by ticking the box on the prescription counterfoil and bringing it to the surgery and posting in the boxes we have available at the front and rear of the building or posting it to us. We will cease to accept telephone requests for repeat medicines on 1 January 2021.
You can also order repeat medication online via the link at the top of this page. New users are required to complete a simple registration.
Alternatively, smart phone or tablet users can download the NHS App. By following the simple registration details on the App, you will be able to order your repeat medicines without having to have any contact with the practice. View the Changes to repeat prescription process here.
If you live more than a mile away from the nearest chemist, we can dispense your medication for you. In-house dispensing of new and repeat prescriptions is provided for eligible patients at both The Park Surgery and Nafferton surgeries. Both dispensaries are open when the surgery is open with the exception on one hour across lunchtime (12.30 pm - 1.30 pm). Outside of these hours, patients in urgent need of medicines should ring the Emergency doctor Service on 111.
Please note, if you pay for your prescriptions, we can accept cash, cheque and we also have card payment facilities in the practice.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Please allow three full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
